About Us

Moeller Music is a full-line, musical instrument business that sells name brand, quality instruments and music accessories, and offers music-related services. Instrument repairs, band & orchestral instrument rentals, sound system installations, and music lessons are all part of the Moeller Music business. We specialize in providing exceptional services and merchandise to individuals, schools, universities, organizations, and institutions, in support of music and music education.

Moeller Music’s believes in the positive benefits music brings to individuals throughout their lives as well as the enrichment it offers communities. Our mission is to provide quality service and support to our customers in a timely manner through our dedicated employees. We have a trained staff knowledgeable in music and music education, and our services go beyond our stores. We are without borders in our effort to help individuals and communities “Discover the Music Inside”. Our employees are community minded and welcome involvement in the music community through company sponsored and supported events. You will spot us out in our communities offering services and support at band competitions (such as OMEA's District 13), band camps (Mason, Lakota, Lebanon, Springboro, Middletown, Monore, Franklin, Waynesville, Madison, Edgewood, etc.), schools (private & public), and community and charity events (Warren Co., Butler Co., Hamilton Co., Montgomery Co., Preble Co.). We are known for our strong suuport for music education. Many organizations, schools, and causes are helped through our involvement in music education and music performance.

History

Moeller Music has been serving Southwestern Ohio as a music retail and music education center since 1964. The company was originally started by James Moeller who had a career as a school band director in Ohio before stepping into the music, retail business. Because of his education and experience, one area of interest to Mr. Moeller was the band instrument rentals business. He grew the music retail business along with the band instrument rental business. Then a former band student of Mr. Moeller, Larry Fullenkamp, decided to follow his foot steps: first as a school band director, then as a music retail business owner. Larry Fullenkamp purchased the Moeller Music Middletown store location from James and Esther Moeller in April, 1981. Larry Fullenkamp has kept up the tradition of selling musical instruments, renting musical instruments, and providing outstanding service to band directors and parents. Since the purchase of the business in 1981, Fullenkamp Music has “Done Business As” Moeller Music.

Moeller Music now operates two stores and generates sales from across Ohio and the nation. It continues with its core business of servicing band directors and band instrument renters from as far north as Centerville and Springboro to as far south as southern Cincinnati. Moeller Music Middletown is located next to the Towne Mall in Middletown, Ohio. Moeller Music West Chester is located in the West Chester Plaza, near the communities of West Chester and Mason .

The Middletown Moeller Music store has serviced the Middletown area since 1976.

The West Chester Moeller Music store has serviced the greater Cincinnati area since 1992.
